After upgrading from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS printing with firefox was no longer possible. Only “Print to PDF” was available. The problem is, that firefox is running in a sandbox (snap) and the permission to access the installed printers is missing. Add the permission as follows:

sudo snap connect firefox:cups-control
